Caffeinated muse

After forever words flow through my finger-tips

This hasn’t happened in a while

Because I’ve had nothing to say

And it comes as a surprise

as today, the same is true-

I have nothing to say

But thoughts flow with the need to be expressed

On most instances thoughts have flowed

Due to a muddled head and

a burdened heart

However, today is different

There is a calm, a sense of strength and security.

I believe which I have found only after

treading through the unknown, fear and pain

So, it hurts my heart to see someone else suffer with the same

and to have a sense of hopelessness at the same time

to only have the power to reassure through words

and not save them from it through action

Because what one is meant to struggle with will have to

its all in His great plan, but my prayer can only be

that another heart not lay at night in restlessness

but with assurance, that with His eyes watching nothing will ever go too wrong.

“What I like the most about making ceramics is knowing they will brighten someone else’s home and life. There is a story behind every piece that I make – it begins with me and my design/making process, and ends with my customers and how they choose to use my creations. This is the beauty of being a potter: I make things that are beautiful to look at, yet functional and made to be lived with.” - Rosella Manzini of RossLab
